The Make-Up Studio - A TRADITIONAL ELIZABETHAN MAKE-UP

Equipment used:
Illamasqua white foundation
Matte primer
Illamasqua powder blusher, Tremble
Illamasqua loose powder
Foundation brush
Buffing brush
Concealer brush
Powder brush
Highlighting brush
Eye shadow brush
Disposable mascara wand

How to create an ELIZABETHAN LOOK
Begin by mixing the primer and foundation together on the back of your hand using the foundation brush, being sure to shake the foundation well first
When the foundation is mixed well with the primer and thinner, apply it to the skin, making sure that you cover all areas of skin on show, including the ears and neck and take it right up to the hair line
Go over the eyebrows and lips as well
Use the buffing brush to buff in the foundation.  Be sure to buff in well, as the white foundation is tricky to make appear smooth
Use the small concealer brush to go right up to the eye line and into the creases of the face
Using a disposable mascara wand, dip it into a bit of white foundation and run the wand across the eyebrows to whiten and block them out.  Go against the hairs as well as with them in order to get right into the root
Set the foundation by powdering everything heavily.  The more you powder, the better the foundation will stay
Take the blusher, tap some into the lid of the pot and use the highlighting brush in round motions on the apple of the cheeks
Using the blusher again and the eye shadow brush, pat some of the blusher onto the lips to give them some colour
Finish the look off by making the eyelashes white.  To do this use a disposable mascara wand and the white foundation, as used before
